Begins Next Week - February 14th
We begin next week the final (4th) book of the Why Catholic? series entitled “Christian Prayer: Deepening My Experience of God.” The first few sessions of this book focus on prayer itself and how God communicates with us.
The next sessions look at different forms of prayer and some difficulties we experience in prayer. Plan to join a group for six weeks during Lent. Please complete the registration form on page 4 or call the parish office. |

PRAYERS FOR VOCATIONS
The Vocations Committee invites all parishioners to join us weekly for a time of prayer for vocations to the priesthood, religious life, and diaconate.
Each Wednesday, we will have 30 minutes of silent prayer or meditation following the Wednesday evening Mass from 6 to 6:30pm in the Gathering Room. |
|
SENIORS GROUP
The Seniors Group will meet on Monday, February 8th, at 10am in the Parish Hall. The Seniors Group is a very active group of parishioners ages 55 and older who meet the second Monday of each month. A brief business meeting is followed by fellowship, cards and games.
Joining the Seniors Group is a great opportunity to relax, have some fun and meet other parishioners. |
|
MEN’S CLUB MEETING
The Men’s Club will meet this Monday evening, February 8th, in the Allen Center. A “Special Intention” Rosary begins at 7pm, followed by the meeting.
All men of the parish (Protestant spouses too!) are invited to join. The Men’s Club promotes fellowship and provides gifts and services to the parish. |

HOLY SEWS MINISTRY
Holy Sews invites you to help sew, cut out or just support their ministry on Sunday, February 14, in the Parish Hall from 1-4:30pm. We will be making the beautiful layettes for stillborn babies who are too tiny and fragile for regular baby clothes.
Even if you don’t sew, there are many other things you can do to help this ministry fulfil its commitment to its mission. You can even do your part at home in your leisure time. | |
